Here’s the best news I’ve heard all week. Cherry Street’s northbound I-5 ramp will reopen at 5 a.m. tomorrow, according to Sound Transit officials. That’s two weeks earlier than initially planned for. I live in the apartment complex five feet away from the ramp and it’s been absolute hell these past few weeks. I went from zipping out of my parking lot onto Madison in 20 seconds flat to waiting in traffic for 15 minutes to go a mere two blocks. Good riddance to that clusterfuck.
