From “Walt for Congess” on FlickrWhen a friend was hired as the Executive Director of the Idaho Democratic Party a couple years ago, it seemed like an exercise in futility. “I assumed there were no party members left to direct when my parents moved away,” I laughed. Now he’s working to get Bill Sali, a long-time state rep and incumbent freshman US House member, replaced by Boise businessman Walt Minnick. And he’s got a shot.
