For Husky fans attempting to raise their chins from a season-long run of unexpected glory that came up two points short in the round of 32, a little shot in the arm: ex-UW point guard Will Conroy just became the NBDL’s all-time leader in Player of the Week awards with his fourth.Conroy has enjoyed a dream season with the D-League’s Albuquerque franchise. But for as good as he’s been all year, last week’s averages of 25.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 12.7 assists were truly out-of-this-world, rivaled only by do-everything NBA megastars like LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Somebody call this kid up, already.
