Doctors prescribed the window washer rest and lots of Lotto tickets.Wonder no more about who might be Seattle’s luckiest man, as a 34-year-old window washer who survived an eight-story fall this morning has claimed his rightful honor.Eyewitnesses at the Broadacre Building at Second and Pine say they looked up when they heard screams and saw the unthinkable: the window washer plunging straight down an alleyway exterior. He would have died, says a Fire Department spokesperson, were it not for safety equipment that kicked in around the second floor, softening his fall so that only his arms and legs hit pavement. The window washer was apparently conscious and talking to paramedics when they arrived. He’s currently recovering at the hospital with the most fortunate set of non-life-threatening injuries you could possibly hope for.(H/T: KOMO News)
