Community blogs are all the rage these days, so much so that even the sultans of stodge at the Seattle Times have jumped on the bandwagon, partnering up with these potential undoers of the First Amendment. Now comes news that the community blog has spread North: Everett has one. Everett WA Blog is “the first independent weblog dedicated to the Everett community,” the release tells us. It’s run by a husband-and-wife team, Steven Ray Liedlich and Denise Galasso Liedlich, who say they were inspired by Seattle’s community blogs. A glance of the first page today shows news of marijuana taxes, UFC fights, and free cats, so so far, so good. Welcome to the ‘sphere, y’all.
