Boeing’s five 787 Dreamliner planes are captives to the tarmac for a few days as engineers re-inspect a part imported from an Italian manufacturer. Brackets on the plane’s horizontal tail were incorrectly assembled, which could have led to some in-flight nastiness. That noise you hear is the sound of every former Fiat owner collectively yelling, “I told ya so!” (The Seattle Times)
