Attention all aspiring Hill rats: Sen. Maria Cantwell’s in the market for a communications director. Notice went out earlier this week. Word is Katharine Lister, who’s currently serving as both communications director and deputy chief of staff, is leaving. According to D.C. database Legistorm, Lister’s been with the Cantwell office since November 2005. She took on the deputy chief of staff role earlier this year after the promotion of Michael Meehan. Just the latest in the staff shuffle/revolving door at the Cantwell shop. For now, at least, the governor’s daughter, Courtney Gregoire is still there. She came on as legislative director in March, the fifth person to hold that position in six years.
