As we blogged earlier this week, Rick Santorum was a bit spooked by the stormy reception he received during his Monday visit to Washington. At events in Olympia and Tacoma, the social conservative encountered chanting gay activists and Occupy Wall Street protesters — which prompted Santorum to ponder asking for Secret Service protection. This brings us to the Comment of the Day:Hopefully, the Secret Service can protect poor Rick from all of that freedom of speech out there. Words make him scared!
