As the health care rally yesterday evening was winding down, there was one incident that did require police response. An individual burned the American flag while standing on top of some of the public art work in Westlake Park.The incident happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. And the individual in question did not appear to be one of the rally participants. Rather, he appeared to be one of the professional vagrants habitating the park.Four Seattle Police on bikes apprehended the individual about 30 seconds after he burned the flag, detaining him for a few minutes before hauling him off in a police van. The Seattle Weekly is working on getting more details on the case. It is not known at the moment who the individual is or whether charges have been filed.Developing…
