A former auto body shop, Suyama Space is sited smack in the middle of the architectural offices of Suyama Peterson Deguchi. And those guys know good bones. Beth Sellars curates this space, which has housed some of the most gorgeous art installations in the city. The best exhibitions here, however, make you look at the floor and the ceiling, forcing you to notice the grey, age-worn wooden beams above, the oil-stained floorboards, and the way the light comes through the skylights. The room itself, wearing its work-a-day history, is an art piece in itself.—Adriana Grant 2324 Second Ave., 256-0809
