Would you classify the Foo Fighters as a Seattle band? That’s debatable. What isn’t in question is that I Pity the Foo is an extraordinarily clever name for a Foo Fighters cover band. (They’re not bad musicians either.) So clever, in fact, that the Bremerton-based three-piece, which features SW web editor Chris Kornelis (pictured here) on drums, has been named “Best Name for a Cover Band Covering a Seattle Group” in Seattle magazine’s Dec. issue (p. 76). Good for yous, faux Foos!
