“What Sugar Ray?! I love them! I thought they died!” exclaimed my friend as I pulled out Sugar Ray’s newest album, Music For Cougars. Well no, they haven’t died, but their new release makes me wish they had just faded into the cheesy, pop 90s category where they belong. But before I even start on the music, let’s talk about the album name. Music For Cougars? Is this supposed to be ironic? Sugar Ray has arisen from the But maybe I am just blinded by my irrational middle-school, love for them. Personally I’m glad they aren’t dead because now I have a whole new reason to dream of marrying lead singer, Mark McGrath.
