Blixa Bargeld + F Space + the Living Jarboe

Einstürzende Neubauten frontman Bargeld and ex-Swans vocalist Jarboe are dark-sider icons in long standing, and seeing them in this intimate, plush venue should be a black-lighted treat. Triple Door, 8 p.m. $10

Blank and Jones

We realize we say something similar each week, but the trance production duo of Piet Blank and Jaspa Jones has made some classic euphoric tracks (“After Love,” “Cream”) that are definitely worth waiting through any Euro-dance club mix for. Last Supper Club, 10 p.m. $10

Blue Scholars + Village Green + Mon Frere + Natalie Quist

If you’re not a student, you might not be aware of UW’s student-run station, but like most great ones you can listen online (rainydawg.com) to a variety of styles, represented well in the local hip-hop, garage, and rock performers at their B-day bash tonight. Broken Disco

Caps and Jones

DJ Craze + Dara + Juju

The mighty Kaos Theory crew is back to bringing insane drum and bass talent to town after a three-year hiatus. Filastine + Infernal Noise Brigade

Political sound cruncher/arranger/de- and-reprogrammers Filastine founded Seattle’s own anarchist marching band, the Infernal Noise Brigade, also performing tonight, along with New Orleans’ DJ Karo, who salvaged some of his collection from the dirty south disaster. Lo Fi, 10 p.m. $6

Mute Math

This electro-alt rock band’s ascent has had everything to do with MySpace (and relentless touring), resulting in 30,000 record-owning fans in under a year. Ask them how they did it at this show with Vedera and Mercir. Crocodile Cafe, 8 p.m. $10 adv./$12 All ages

Reggae Fest

Head to Georgetown for this Black History Reggae Fest includes Winston “Flames” Jarrett, Wadi Gad, Alex Duncan, the Crucialites, and Culture Yard Sound. Jah Wobble and the English Roots Band

Bob Marley’s Wailers + Dr. Israel

The headliners play here all the time, but it’s opener Dr. Israel, a Brooklyn dub and downtempo mastermind, who really counts. Neumo’s, 8 p.m. $20 adv./$25. All ages

The Charming Snakes + the Turn-Ons + Lillydale

Word on the street is that this may be one of the Snakes’ last performances, so go get charmed (nyuck, nyuck) while you can. The dreamy Turn-Ons and Lillydale will keep that feeling going strong. High Dive, 9 p.m. $6

Ghidra + Girth

Ghidra consists of Wally Shoup on deep, wandering saxophone, Bill Horist on a guitar that will not behave, and experimental drummer Mike Peterson. The sound is free, far out, and freakily melodic. Blue Moon, 9 p.m.

The Prids

Their “stardusted fuzz” was last heard on 2003’s gorgeous Love Zero (Luminal), but a new album’s in the works for this Portland band, performing tonight with Joy Wants Eternity and the Furniture Girls. Funhouse, 9:30 p.m. $5
