Watch a slideshow of Lucinda Williams and Neko Case at Bumbershoot 2008. Photo by Renee McMahon.I may be late to the party with the sharing of this wonderful news, as I was out of town last week, but Lucinda Williams will be playing the Showbox on November 13 and 14. Not only does this mean a veritable double-shot of the greatest female alt-country singer of all time — she just played Bumbershoot — but her decision to play the Showbox will give fans a rare opportunity to catch her in such an intimate venue. Incidentally, her new album, Little Honey, drops October 14. I’m bouncing off the walls here, people — I love Lucy!
