This is in no way new news, but hearing my mom and brother discuss buying tickets for Elton over WSU’s Mom’s Weekend, April 12, was moving. He’ll be playing at Beasley Coliseum. I’m sure a lot of you are thinking, “What the figgie pudding is Elton doing on the Palouse.” Well, as a matter of fact, he’s certainly not the first international pop star to play Beasley. Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Weezer, Van Halen, and HOOTIE AND THE BLOWFISH, have all done time on the Beasley stage.
