There are all sorts of Haiti benefits going on around town this week, but the one I’m most stoked on is happening tonight at Hattie’s in Ballard. Performers include Kevin Murphy of the Moondoggies, pop genius Rusty Willoughby, Andy Davenhall of Sister Psychic, Shivering Denizens, Fred Speakman, Jet Sparks and Kwab Copeland (with help from Ian Moore), Garth Reeves, John Ramberg, Zoe Muth and Ethan Lawton. Plus, judging by all the noise on Facebook, I’m guessing Huge Spacebird is reuniting for the occasion. What’s more, DJ Taco Supreme will be on the decks, which means you can indulge in Hattie’s rich comfort food, safe in the knowledge that you will undoubtedly be dancing it off later.
