The original Band Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” is easily the best celebrity Christmas track ever recorded, thanks mainly to powerhouse vocal tracks from Simon LeBon and George Michael, as well as a brilliantly symplistic synth baseline that propels the whole bit. Now here to prove that every good song gets remade, Bono, Chris Martin, Dido, Paul McCartney, Thom Yorke and the fat lead singer from Keane have teamed up to remake the classic charity track.
