The new song doesn’t have a name yet, but from this acoustic recording backstage at No Depression Fest, it sounds like Cave Singers’ signature sound: acoustic folk wrapped in a light film of psychedelia. There’s no official word on when we’ll see the new Cave Singers record, which will be their first for Indiana’s Jagajaguwar. But we’re assured it’ll be sometime early(ish) next year. In the meantime, the band just lined up a Showbox at the Market gig for Friday Novemember 5, where they’re bound to drop a few new ones.
