The Moondoggies will hit Bumbershoot’s Starbucks Stage on Monday at 5pm (check out our 100% comprehensive guide to Bumbershoot here), and here’s a couple things to tide you over until then — this morning Spinner debuted a brand-new song from the band’s forthcoming Tidelands (out October 12 on Hardly Art); the track’s called “It’s a Shame, It’s a Pity” and is fully rocking — sweet harmonies and lots of bluesy soul. Spinner’s also featuring a 5-minute $5 Cover documentary clip on the Moondoggies — it was filmed by John Jeffcoat and shows the band writing, drinking, and discussing their roots.Click here to watch the clip and to hear “It’s a Shame, It’s a Pity.”
