The Moondoggies Tomorrow night, after stuffing your face with a Thanksgiving feast- the options in the way of live music sharply dwindle. Luckily though, there is one place in town boasting a decent post-Turkey bill: The Blue Moon Tavern. They’ve wrangled together their annal post-dinner hootenanny with The Brothers Balthazar and the Moondoggies who’s (as I’ve said before) ’70s sound could hitch a ride on a Heartworn Highway and take it all the way to Topanga Canyon. Previous Blue Moon gigs have seen dollar bills thrown at them, as Brian J. Barr notes in his feature on the boys, one of the highest Blue Moon compliments.
