Talk about an easy birthday to remember. Yesterday (New Year’s Day) Hollow Earth Radio, the local online-only DIY radio station (which we wrote about here), turned 1 year old. They’re doing a whole lotta celebratin’ this week by broadcasting the usual awesomeness, along with the following:Wed., Jan. 2, 11:30 p.m. 160 minutes of pure 70s psych-rock.Thurs., Jan. 3, Time TBA: Re-broadcasting of the 20/20 cycle show (the first show they broadcasted live from another location)Fri., Jan. 4, Noon: Rebroacasting of Sasha Cleveland’s interview with Purple Crow, a man who believes he’s a reptoid. Congrats again, Hollow Earth folks. You’ve raised a healthy baby thus far.
