Taking place last night at the Theater Off Jackson, the Blue Scholars’ fan appreciation event began with Geo and Sabzi just walking through the crowd and conversing with everyone. In the main room was a big sheet with a video projected on it, which was fed from a camera in another room that had a black backdrop for people to stand in front of and do something crazy. That video of everyone was being recorded and will be played in the backdrop of their Neumos shows tonight and tomorrow night. Here is photographer Armin Ausejo’s cousin doing his thing on the screen.After meeting everyone, Blue Scholars sat down for a question and answer session, where they talked about the new album, specific tracks and lyrics, and where their future as well.
