Soul-revivalists Pickwick have been one of Seattle’s fastest-rising bands in 2011, moving into broad local consciousness on the strength of some fantastic singles that were recently compiled on their Myths EP, which scored a “highly recommended” tag in November’s Reverb Monthly. Tonight they’ll play a free in-store at Easy Street Records’ Queen Anne location. Based on videos of some recent live sets, it definitely seems worth checking out. Tonight’s show starts at 7 p.m., and if you like what you hear, Pickwick also playing the Neptune Theatre this Thursday with Campfire OK.
