Seattle’s Tomten performs during the first round of EMP’s Sound Off! on Feb. 12.Sound Off!, EMP’s underage battle of the bands, which has brought fame and recklessness to the likes of The Lonely Forest, Schoolyard Heroes, and Brite Futures over the last nine years is back for its 10th anniversary. The competition kicks off Feb. 12 at EMP. This year’s first-place winner will gets a shot at playing Bumbershoot, an in-studio set on 107.7 the End, and lotsa gear. Second and third place winner walk home with a bunch of loot, too.
