Saturday at ACL was a washout, literally. Rain from beginning of the day till the bitter end, sullied the spirits of the usually pleasant Austinitisites who spent the day grumpy, peeved and and ready to rumble. We northwesterners are use to mother nature strapping one on and giving it to us good, but for the Texas crowd, who usually prepare for sunburn and dehydration, found little to celebrate as the grounds became muddier, and muddier and people flooded out the exits mid day. Maybe because the evenings headliners were locals Ghostland Observatory (oh and Dave Matthews), but by mid evening the exits hemorrhaged fesitval goers who desperately.
