Renee McMahonThe thought recently occurred to me that, taking into account the devilish intensity of St. Vincent’s show at Sasquatch! (see above) and the musical genius of David Byrne, their musical partnership should be one for the ages. Their album, Love This Giant, drops Sept. 11, and, as we previously reported, the hand-holders bring their tent to the 5th Avenue Theater on Oct. 17. Tickets, however, went on sale this morning, earlier than we expected. The show is under the City Arts Fest umbrella — which doesn’t go on sale until August. If you wait until August, and buy a City Arts Fest wristband, you can still go to the show, but you won’t be guaranteed access the way you would with a ticket to the specific show. Correction: Festival wristbands will guarantee access to this show. But if you don’t want to buy a fest pass, and just want to catch the show, this is the time to get your tix.OK, you’ve been warned!
