Renee McMahonJack White: Doing Sasquatch!I liked The White Stripes, loved The Raconteurs, dug a good bit of the Dead Weather, and, apart from a couple notable tracks (see “Love Interuption”) was pretty let down by Jack White’s solo debut, Blunderbuss. Fortunately for me, for his Sasquatch! set last month, White cherry-picked from his entire catalog to put together one of the best shows I’ve seen this year. That’s a long way of saying: Even if you’ve got your reservations about White’s solo record, you’ll be treated to much, much more at his August 14 show at WaMu Theater. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, via Ticketmaster.
