Portland Cello Project plays the Triple Door tomorrow with Thao (of the Get Down Stay Down) and Justin Power, both of whom appear on Portland Cello Project’s latest, collaborative album, fittingly titled The Thao and Justin Power Sessions. It came out yesterday, and to celebrate, Kill Rock Stars, released this mp3 from the album, “Travel,” which is a collaboration with Justin Power. While no recording can truly do justice to Portland Cello Project’s expansive sound, “Travel” is a good teaser for what’s sure to be a gorgeous set tomorrow. The show begins at 7:30 p.m., is all ages and if you buy your ticket today, it’ll only cost $15 instead of $17. Emily Wells, who just played Vera Project on Monday, opens.
