Pink Door

Live entertainment takes many forms in the Emerald City. At the Pink Door on Monday nights, trapeze artists swing overhead from the 20-foot ceilings as you enjoy dinner, and on Saturdays, a tap dancer brings a dying art form to life in the lounge. Almost makes the jazz acts, cabaret troupes, and tarot card readers that show up in between the two seem commonplace—almost. Cross-dressing tango dancers and accordion orchestras certainly aren’t commonplace, and really, just about everything feels exceptional in this one-of-a-kind space. The Pink Door is known for its lasagna, its great drinks, and the unmarked door, sure, but it’s lately become known for its unique and whimsical programming, too. 1919 Post Alley, 206-443-3241, www.thepinkdoor.net.
