Photo by Skip Kerr His grizzled, effortlessly expressive face and generally enigmatic persona make Tom Waits an easily photogenic subject, but the pictures currently on display down at Kiss Cafe in Ballard (2817 NW Market Street, near the Locks) are exceptionally compelling. Former Rocket contributor Skip Kerr took the pictures in 1975, prior to Waits’ performance at the Paramount. Kerr’s photos are on display through the first week in January.
