One of the first hip-hop parties that I went to after moving to Seattle was The Corner. It’s put on by Candidt of Oldominion and always features quality local hip-hop at a recession-friendly price of $5. Tonight is the party’s one-year anniversary and they’ve got Mr. Hill, JFK of Grayskulls, Candidt, Silent Lambs Project with Lisa Loud, and Rudy and the Rhetoric all performing and it should be a good night. The party takes place at Rendezvous in Belltown.
