Next month, the Showbox is going to host a benefit concert for the Andy Kotowicz Family Foundation, featuring the A-Frames, Fruit Bats, Mudhoney, Shabazz Palaces, and more. In the meantime, tonight’s Sunset show with Hardly Art’s Unnatural Helpers will also benefit the Kotowicz Foundation. The show is at 10pm, cover is $8 — needless to say, going towards an important and worthwhile cause — and Partman Parthorse and Charles Leo Gebhardt IV will open. And it’ll probably be a lot more exciting than seeing Built to Spill for the fiftieth time at the Showbox. Just sayin’.
