My sister is in love with John Mayer. His monotonous music, his ugly tattoos, his incessant need to call attention to himself (can somebody puh-lease deactivate his Twitter account already?!), none of it phases her. Not even his super offensive interview with Playboy. Love really is blind, I guess. And deaf, too. But it got me thinking, if my sister – who I would describe for the most part as being a reasonable human being – likes him so much, there’s got to be others like her out there. I mean, he’s playing at the Key Arena. They don’t just let any Joe Shmoe play there. So who here in Seattle is going to be at the concert on Wednesday, March 31? And why? I want to how it is possible that this god-awful excuse for a “rock star” still appeals to the public. Gimme one good reason. I’m waiting.
