Mr. Rogers performs tonight at the Transcendent Church of Bass. Doors at 9 p.m. $8 before 11p.m. 21+ The featured sermon at this evening’s edition of the new-ish monthly “Late Night Mass” will be delivered by Mr. Rogers, who, judging by this tongue-in-cheek mix, has a refreshingly comedic sensibility. (He uses snippets from Knocked Up and even tastefully lightens Bjork’s “Human Behavior” a mite. Also: do yourself a solid and check out the track that comes about 27 minutes in.) So often in electronic music, DJs feel compelled to pretend as if they’ve never had a good day. But in Mr. Rogers’ Parallel Neighborhood, all is apparently well.
