Minus the Bear’s fifth album, Infinity Overhead, hits stores tomorrow (look for a review of it in Wednesday’s new September issue of Reverb Monthly); to celebrate, the band is playing a just-announced record release show tonight at the Comet, with Helms Alee opening. Tickets are $10, and the dollar amount of ticket sales will be matched by Freedom to Marry and donated to Washington United for Marriage. Doors open at 9 p.m., but you might want to get there early, because no advance tickets are being sold. If you don’t get in, Minus the Bear is also playing a free, all-ages in-store performance tomorrow at Easy Street in Queen Anne.
