Man, I don’t go out on New Year’s Eve for all the obvious reasons, but if I may have to break my own rule and head to the Comet this year. Harkonen, the brutally artful, hardcore-tinged trio fronted by current Helms Alee leader Ben Verellen, is reuniting to play NYE, along with Book of Black Earth and Lesbian. I can’t really think of a better way to say good-bye to such a crappy year than with such a killer bill.
