On Record Store Day, April 16, the label will reissue the self-titled release by The Head and the Heart, the most popular of Seattle’s growing herd of easy-listening indie acts like Hey Marseilles and Grand Hallway.Even without the aid of one of the nation’s most respected independent labels, the Americana-curious band sold 8,000 copies of their self-titled debut, has shared bills with Dave Matthews and Vampire Weekend, were featured on NPR, and sold out local venues, including Friday’s set at Neumos.
