Last week Utada Hikaru flew in from Tokyo to Seattle unannounced to everyone but the folks at Nathan Hale High School’s dance radio station C89.5 FM. There were a lot of broken hearts when we reported the news because Utada is one of Japan’s most popular pop stars and there are plenty of Asia transplants here in Seattle who are diehard fans. The consolation prize is that she did at least give Richard J. Dalton of C89.5 FM an interview. It airs on the station tomorrow from 6-8 a.m. And yes, for those of you wondering, Utada does speak English. And she’s actually pretty funny. Tune in!
