Last night I stopped by the private party for the opening of Moe Bar, the newly revamped lounge adjacent to Neumo’s main room. It looks fantastic (more on that later), which is fabulous news in itself, but the other piece of good news I stumbled upon was that former Sunset booker Kwab Copeland (pictured on the left, with Kurt Bloch on the right) had just signed on as an assistant booker for the club. He will still have his hand in booking the soon-to-open Last Chance Chili in Georgetown, but having him on the same dream team as Jason Lajeunesse and Steven Severin is a smart move for everyone involved. Congrats, Kwab!
