Kurt Bloch, with The Basements at The Bit Saloon during REVERB Festival.Such a shame. One of the neighborhood’s oldest bars — dating back to 1947 — and one of our favorite REVERB Festival locations, is calling it good on November 1. A Bit employee told MyBallard.com that the bar may re-open at a new location, but that for now, Sunday is the last day to stop in for a drink and a head-bang. FYI, Roy Kay Combo’s Nov. 6 Bit show has been moved to the Victory Lounge.
