Justin RenneyBuilt to Spill at the Capitol Hill Block Party.Happy Monday, y’all. Here are some free tickets! First, a quick bit of catching up . . . For those of you not completely clear, City Arts Fest is a multi-venue festival that runs Oct. 20-21 and features the likes of Ryan Adams, Robyn, and Blackalicious playing at Benaroya Hall, the Paramount, and Showbox at the Market, respectively. For $69 you can buy a wristband that gets you into as many shows as you can make it to (admission isn’t guaranteed for every show, but the larger shows, we’re told, should have room for just about everyone; get to must-see shows early to be safe). You can also buy individual tickets to the shows. Or, you can win them here. We’ve got a pair of tickets to see Built to Spill play the Moore with Disco Doom and Seapony on Friday, Oct. 21. If you want to be entered to win the tickets, send me an e-mail at ckornelis@seattleweekly.com with the words “BUILT TO SPILL TIX” in the subject, and your name and phone number in the body. We’ll select a winner at random.Good luck!Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
