Here, the comic talks about his musical abilities, the first band he saw live, and how to make a lot of Cheap Trick fans angry.What music have you been listening to today? Did you like it?OK Computer by Radiohead. Of course I like it.What’s your preferred method for listening to music (iPod, car, home stereo, etc.)?All of the above. But I prefer listening to vinyl. Especially if it was recorded in analog.When was the last time you heard “Stairway to Heaven”? Did you turn it off?In the car with my son, taking him to school. And I would never turn off Led Zeppelin.Do you play an instrument?No. I have no musical skill whatsoever.What were you listening to in high school?Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson, Cheap Trick, George Benson, The BeatlesWhat was the first band/artist you saw in concert?Queen.What was the last band/artist you saw in concert?Weezer.When you sing karaoke, what’s your go-to number?I don’t sing karaoke. But if I did I’d sing “More Than This” like Bill Murray did in Lost in Translation.How do you feel about ABBA?They make me smile for a minute.Please share a favorite musical moment/story from your past.I sang lead on “Surrender” with Cheap Trick in concert. Most of the audience, I’m sure, wasn’t happy. But I won a few over.
