I’ve been waiting years for the opportunity to write about N.W.A., and this week’s reissue of Straight Outta Compton gave me the opportunity to do just that. SW music editor Brian Barr and I knew we wanted an illustration to go along with the piece (an ancient stock photo just wouldn’t cut it), and I gotta say that Greg Houston’s rendering of Cube and company is fanfuckingtastic.
