It’s not intended for the Postal Service, it’s a disguise for your laptop! And not just any laptop. The Manila Macbook Air carrier, designed by YACHT’s Jona Bechtolt and collaborator Claire Evans, the envelope was created to fit the new MacBook Air a laptop so thin that it fits inside a regular mailing envelope. With all the hype, and hipster-factor surrounding it, the brainchild of these two–who claim their inspiration came from a Steve Jobs’-delivered keynote speech at Macworld on the AirMail website–will likely be another ubiquitous coffee shop accessory soon enough.
