In what may be the noisiest double bill in history, Seattleites-turned-Portlanders Jaguar

In what may be the noisiest double bill in history, Seattleites-turned-Portlanders Jaguar Love will co-headline a mini-tour with Brooklyn’s Japanther this June. They’re calling it the “Coin Flip Tour,” because the bands will will flip a coin at the beginning of the night to decide who headlines. It’s a fitting gimmick, since you never know what you’re going to get from Jaguar Love. When they played the Vera Project in January, guitar player Cody Votolato’s amp actually caught on fire. And Johnny Whitney–who is just chaotic fireball with a microphone and tortured-child voice–is completely unpredictable once he takes a stage. The bands kick off their tour May 29 at Plan B in Bellingham, followed by a May 20 show at the Den in Tacoma. They’ll play Seattle June 2 at The Comet Tavern.
