In case you missed it on Sunday, our friend/columnist/in-house bassist Krist Novoselic wrote about Nirvana’s debut turning 20 over on the Daily Weekly. He even phoned up Jack Endino, the wizard knob-twister who produced Bleach:”Considering it only took about 30 hours in the studio, and the equipment we used, I’m glad it sounds as good as it does.”Novoselic says the Bleach reissue — which hits stores November 3 — will include a live show recorded on Feb. 2, 1990 at the Pine Street Theater in Portland with drummer Chad Channing.”There’s going to be a vinyl version too,” Novoselic says. “Jack and I got test pressings earlier this summer and the vinyl sounds killer. It’s going to be pressed on white vinyl – just like the first issue. I put the tone arm down and the bass growl of “Blew” is there in all its Grunge glory.”Read Novoselic’s whole post over here. And read his column every Tuesday on the Daily Weekly.
