I rarely blog about shows before they happen. But I’ve gotta sing my praises for Cornucopia Cabaret, which takes place at the Triple Door tomorrow at 8 p.m.. The show has an awesome lineup that includes Mark Pickeral and his Praying Hands, former Posies drummer Michael Musburger, burlesque dancers Waxie Moon, Paula the Swedish Housewife, and the Shanghai Pearl, whom I recently wrote about. Tickets are just $15. The proceeds to the performers and to Treehouse, a Seattle organization that works with youth in foster care. It’s a sweet deal–you can help kids while getting your drink on and checking out some live music and boobs. I’ll be the one sipping white wine and heckling from the back of the room.
