How this show ended up being so under publicized I don’t understand. Even as a gatekeeper of media, I sort of let it slip through the cracks but it should be known that one of the most talented voices to emerge from the neo-soul movement of the mid ’90s, Maxwell, is in Seattle tonight. He’s performing at the Paramount Theater in about two hours and if you’re interested in checking out the show, tickets are still available. They’re not the cheapest seats in town. Prices range from $56.50-96.50 excluding fees, but damn if seeing Maxwell return to the stage some eight years after semi-retiring isn’t worth it.
