Have you checked out the new series of completely free shows at Chop Suey on Tuesday nights? It’s a perfect opportunity to try our Tuesday Night Music Club experiment for yourself while seeing some great local talent. Case in point: Tonight, Walla Walla girl-punks Chastity Belt bring their raunchy garage jams to the stage for a rare Seattle appearance. Back in May, I said their semi-self-titled EP “pair[s] the stripped-down punk-funk aesthetic of C.O.C.O. with the direct, at times risque lyrical charms of Be Your Own Pet.” Bonus fun: Joining them will be Andrew and Peter from Dude York, who had a hand in producing CB’s record.Chastity Belt play Chop Suey with Redbook and the Space Needles at 8 p.m.Listen to “God Damn” after the jump.God Damn by Chastity Belt
