Have any of you out there heard the new Modest Mouse song “Dashboard”? If not, click here. It’s streamable via Pitchfork. Personally, I dig the song. The hipsters have already trashed it as too mainstream, and a little too “Float On, Pt 2”. But I’m of a mind that Isaac can do what Isaac feels like doing…because he will do what he feels like doing no matter what you say. But I’d like for you to weigh in. You think our local heroes are reaching too far to be Franz Ferdinand? Or do you think this is just another great Modest Mouse song that you’ll pump your fist to?
